Storytelling and Total Physical Response

Telling children stories is a really important way of giving children primary language material and as a springboard for a topic of discussion in whole class time. Children can learn even more when they are listening to a story if they are involved in 'total physical response' - acting out the story and key actions. This really helps the children remember the language!
